This is your fri­en­dly intro­duc­tory class to Ardui­no micro-con­trol­lers.  In this three-hour class we will:

#102 Arduino I/O

This is your fri­en­dly intro­duc­tory class to Ardui­no Inputs and Outputs.
Now that you’ve alre­ady lear­ned how to power up your Ardui­no and wri­te some basic pro­grams then you may want to learn some more tricks. This class will tea­ch you how to pro­gram your Ardui­no to read digi­tal and ana­log inputs, as well as con­trol digi­tal and ana­log outputs.
Don’t know what that means? Then this is defi­ni­tely the class for you! Learn how to pro­gram your Ardui­no to read sen­sors to con­trol light and sound. In this three-hour class we will:

  • Learn about the Ana­log and Digi­tal concepts
  • Learn about the Arduino’s Ana­log and Digi­tal ports
  • Learn how to pro­gram it to read Digi­tal or Ana­log sen­sors using the Ardui­no environment
  • Wire up LED Lights and sen­sors and load up code to make the things blink

Processing Night Sessions

processing.org is a mul­ti-plat­form java pro­gram­ming envi­ron­ment who­se aim is to sim­plify as much as pos­si­ble the making of cre­a­ti­ve pro­grams to tho­se who find it hard to pro­gram. the­se ses­si­ons will move from intro­duc­tory coding con­cepts to advan­ced inte­rac­ti­ons, tuto­ring on core sub­jects to allow you to exe­cu­te your ide­as into code. the ses­si­ons tou­ch intro­duc­ti­on to pro­gram­ming, oop (object ori­en­ted pro­gram­ming), 2d & 3d graphics pro­gram­ming, sound synthe­sis and analy­sis, ima­ge based inte­rac­ti­ons, phy­si­cal com­pu­ting com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on, gene­tic algo­rithms, all gathe­red in intro­duc­ti­on to simu­la­ti­ons and games.
